Brrr... Cold!

It's been a cold week here in the south. We might even hit a record low tonight! One cold afternoon we got the paints out instead of heading outside for our usual bike riding. The kids had so much fun, so much so that Will required a shower by the time it was all said and done. Ben was a good sport and cleaned up all the paint off the floor in the craft room and even put away all the paints. His extra efforts earned him a couple more dollars towards buying markers for one of the underprivileged schools here in Charlotte, a service project that his kindergarten class has sponsored. With all this cold weather and lack of fresh air has come the runny noses and coughs. Kate was the first victim, staying home from preschool on Tuesday. Now that she's feeling better Will and Camryn are snoty and miserable. Just in time for Thanksgiving visitors and Christmas card pictures. Don't ya just love this time of year ....
