and have also just begun. Yes, our hot humid weather is gone and the wonderful North Carolina fall has arrived and with it our newest family member: Jessie. Jessie, a four year old female Golden Retriever, joined our family on Friday. She came to us through the Golden Rescue League (http://www.grrcc.com/) here in Charlotte. Tyco just hasn't been the same since Mason died almost two years ago, so Jessie was just as much for him as she was for us and the kids. So far she has been a wonderful addition to our family. Her previous owners kept her outside so she doesn't really understand such things as stairs, dishwashers, doorbells and phones. She did have plenty of exposure to kids and cats so we lucked out there. The kids are very taken with her. Tyco warmed up to her immediately and the two have been having fun playing chase and swimming in the pool.
